A Christchurch man’s handmade model yacht has become a much-loved local sight, often seen sailing across Pegasus, the estuary, and the Botanical Gardens. The yacht was built entirely from scratch by Christchurch man Martin, a former mechanical engineer. His daughter Kelly Foulds said her father’s craftsmanship and attention to detail turned the model into a small icon around the city.
