A rockfall from the summit lava dome of Mayon Volcano was recorded at 4:33 PM today, Dec. 29, 2025. The event was captured by cameras and seismic monitors of the Mayon Volcano Network. Similar to previous incidents, the rockfall traveled down the Miisi Gully on the volcano’s southern slopes and came to rest within one kilometer of the summit crater.
