So I used to be in the camp that hated tricep dips. They never felt good on my shoulder — especially since I had to keep that chest up posture… but do I actually need to? Well, let me clear up something: 1) a tricep dip has more to do which keeping your elbows tucked to your side rather than staying upright — thus I recommend hunching forward for more comfort 2) keep your legs straight and tight (similar to a pull up) so you’re more stable and can focus more on the dip rather than trying to stay
