Nov 23, 2008 · I have a '72 Gran Torino, 79 Ranchero, and a 74 Ranchero and am thinking about adding a rear sway bar to the Torino. Whenever I take the Torino out I notice quite a bit of body roll despite new springs out back (still need to replace the fronts and shocks all around).

Dec 13, 2005 · Not sure about a 95 Mustang, but one from a Tarus, Tbird, Crown Vic. Mercury, will work, none of which are a one wire. I believe the second generation alternators have the regulator attached to the back of the alternator while the 3rd generation(130 amp) are internal. BTW, no Ford had a one wire alternator. That would have to be GM or after market.

Mar 16, 2008 · I own a 65 Ranchero with a factory 289. It seems that almost everytime I listened to somebody say" anything that fits a Mustang, fits a falcon" it didn't. Mainly suspension. I have a set of 5 leaf performance springs with exactly 10 feet of use on them. Sure they "fit" but went lowrider low as some as the car moved.

Apr 4, 2020 · The bench seat was factory. Ford actually put bench seats in Stangs 65-69. 15K each year. And Cougars 67-68. Most dealers took them out and put in the buckets to sell them better. Iy's the same sliders as Falcons and other small/medium Fords use. Just the cable is adjusted different. Even has an arm rest.

Ace Hardware or something similar would have a pretty good selection of odds and ends to make something work.

Mar 15, 2008 · It should be noted that this applies to Ranchero, Torino, LTD II, Thunderbird, and equivalent Mercury Models for the 1972 - 1979 Model Years. While they look similiar, there are a lot of differences in the '72 to '79 Gauge Groups that merits explanation.
