The U.S. Navy has identified Aviation Boatswain’s Mate Airman Jose Antonio Rivera Lynch IV from North Florida as the sailor presumed overboard from the USS George Washington on July 28.

The U.S. Navy has identified the sailor who was reported missing earlier this week from the aircraft carrier George Washington as it transited the Timor Sea off Australia’s northern coast.

In a news release, Navy officials said they have suspended the search for Airman Jose Antonio Rivera Lynch IV, from Middleburg.
