Two days before Major League Baseball's trade deadline, the St. Louis Cardinals sit just two games above .500, with two former All-Stars (Ryan Helsley and Nolan Arenado) who could be at the center of trade talks as teams scramble to get deals done.
The Texas Rangers are linked to closers from the St. Louis Cardinals and the Pittsburgh Pirates, and Adolis Garcia's name has been rumored.
The 2025 MLB trade deadline is Thursday at 6 p.m. ET. If last year is anything to judge by, Wednesday and Thursday are going to be chaotic, with several teams making last-minute decisions on whether to be buyers, sellers or some hybrid combination of the two.
