Second baseman Ketel Marte, who hit third for the NL in the All-Star Game and doubled home two runs in the first inning against Cy Young winner Tarik Skubal, was placed on the restricted list Friday.

According to manager Torey Lovullo, Arizona Diamondbacks superstar second baseman Ketel Marte is on his way back from the Dominican Republic, and is expected to be back at Chase Field prior to the start of Saturday afternoon's game.

Marte reportedly requested personal days to deal with the robbery, which took place while the second baseman was in Atlanta for the All-Star game.
