A man in Massachusetts became $2 million richer after buying two $1 million-winning lottery tickets, but by accident, according to Powerball.

CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Powerball jackpot is an estimated $288 million for the drawing on Saturday, July 19, 2025, the top lottery prize this weekend. Saturday’s Classic Lotto jackpot is $5.4 million. The Mega Millions jackpot for Friday, July 18 is $100 million.

With her winnings, the lucky winner plans to start college funds for her grandchildren, make home repairs and take her family to Disney.

One lottery player in Arkansas took home $50,000 — twice. The man from Pulaski County has never won more than $100 from a lottery ticket, but the month of July landed him huge prizes from $20 scratch-off tickets, lottery officials said in a June 16 news release.
