A Bangladesh Air Force jet crashed into a college in the capital Dhaka on Monday, killing at least 20 people according to the military – in the country’s deadliest air incident in recent memory.

A Bangladeshi military training aircraft crashed into the campus of a school in Dhaka, killing the pilot and at least 18 others, mostly students, officials say.

The death toll from the crash of a Bangladesh Air Force training jet onto a school in Dhaka has risen to 19, mostly children, officials said on Monday. Many others who suffered severe burn injuries were receiving treatment in hospital.
