Chicago Sky star Angel Reese missed her first game of the season against the Atlanta Dream with a leg injury on Wednesday at Wintrust Arena.

Angel Reese crash-landed into the WNBA in much the same way she goes after rebounds: unapologetically and with great force. After early critiques tried to box her in as an interior-only presence with limited touch and tunnel vision,

While the extent of her injury was not initially understood, this is the Sky’s final game before the All-Star Break, so Reese will not suit up again for Chicago until at least July 22. Head coach Tyler Marsh did confirm, however, that her absence was precautionary.
