Crews are responding to a brush fire that grew rapidly along I-5 near the Arlington Airport Monday afternoon.

A brush fire broke out along northbound I-5 near Arlington on Monday afternoon. First responders are currently blocking the right lane of the freeway. Drivers are advised to slow down and use caution.

All lanes of I-5 north near Arlington are back open after being fully closed due to at least three brush fires, the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) reported Monday via X.
