Out with the old and in with the new ‘do for Patrick Mahomes. The star Chiefs quarterback, 29, sported a shorter haircut over the weekend at the 4th birthday celebrations of his and Brittany Mahomes’ eldest child, daughter Sterling Skye, as captured in a new Instagram video.

Patrick Mahomes was spotted with his new hair look, which is much shorter than his signature style, at his daughter Sterling's fourth birthday party in February 2024 following the Kansas City Chiefs' Super Bowl loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Feb.

Mahomes told AOL in 2019 that the hairstyle was the result of a friendly bet with a buddy when he was younger. They each grew out their hair and wanted to see who would go the longest before finally cutting it. “As I grew it out, I realized that I actually liked it a lot,” Mahomes told AOL Sports. “So, I kept it going.”
