The Buffalo Bills head coach expressed concerns over the way the controversial short-yardage run play is allowed to be executed.

Of all NFL teams, the Eagles and the Bills have made the most effective use of the so-called "tush push" play. And, at a time when the Packers have proposed a rule prohibiting the move, Buffalo coach Sean McDermott has expressed concerns about the technique.

The Buffalo Bills simply weren’t up to par on special teams. Sean McDermott was adamant about keeping the team’s special teams coordinator, Matthew Smiley, four days after the season ended.

Conversations regarding banning the tush push play re-emerged on Monday when NFL Network's Judy Battista reported that an unidentified team proposed banning the tush push. Dianna Russini of The Athletic later reported that the team who proposed the ban was the Green Bay Packers.
