Thomas Frank has joked he left Brentford for Tottenham because he wanted "more risk" -- but insisted he will be given time to turn the club into serial trophy challengers.

Thomas Frank offered no guarantees over the long-term futures of Son Heung-min and Cristian Romero in his first public outing as Tottenham Hotspur head coach.

"My aim is to hopefully add to that. The first aim is that we need to be able to compete in all four tournaments and do it consistently. That's got to be the ambition we build towards because I think in 2019, the Champions League final, was the last where the club managed to compete in more than one competition.
