It’s safe to say that Alabama will have another cold snap before spring is over, but it doesn’t look like it will be in the next few weeks. The eight- to 14-day temperature outlook from NOAA’s Climate Prediction Center is forecasting near-average temperatures for all of Alabama through the first week of March:

Frostbite mostly affects small, exposed body parts like fingers and toes - especially in young children.

The weather service said highs in north Alabama will stay in the upper 20s. Central Alabama will have highs that will range from the low 30s in the north to the low 40s in the south. And south Alabama will have highs in the low to mid-40s.
