The estranged husband of Ruby Franke -- a mom who rose to fame on YouTube and later pleaded guilty to child abuse -- is now speaking out to warn other families about the dangers of social media.

Ruby Franke’s 11-year-old daughter is speaking out about the negative impact her mother’s vlogging had on her life. Kevin Franke, Ruby’s ex-husband, appeared at a hearing for the House Business, Labor and Commerce Committee in Utah on Tuesday,

On Jodi's advice, Ruby kicked Kevin out of the house and banned him from having contact with their kids. And behind the scenes Ruby – often acting on Jodi's advice – was subjecting her kids to horrific abuse that included gruelling manual labour, sleeping on hard floors, isolation from the world and starvation.
