The extreme rain has exited east out of Montgomery County and D.C. Flash flood warnings remain in effect for most of southern Montgomery County, parts of D.C., far northern Fairfax County, northern Prince George’s County and a portion of northwest Anne Arundel County.
A washed-out Guadalupe River appeared stuck in time nearly two weeks after the catastrophe. Large trees laid on their sides, and debris lingered throughout what was left.
A flash flood warning was issued by the National Weather Service on Saturday at 6:15 p.m. in effect until 9:15 p.m. for Limestone and Madison counties.
