The Kraken announced they have loaned star Jordan Eberle to the AHL's Coachella Valley Firebirds amid a potential injury return.

The Seattle Kraken have recalled forward Jordan Eberle from the Coachella Valley Firebirds, it was announced Monday. Eberle, who was with the Firebirds on a conditioning stint, had been out since November after undergoing surgery on his pelvis. Although he spent time with the Firebirds, he did not get into a game with the team.

The Seattle Kraken have been without their captain Jordan Eberle for 14 weeks. He last saw the ice on Nov. 14 when the Kraken played the Chicago Blackhawks.
