Defending champions Jannik Sinner and Aryna Sabalenka, who both top the tennis rankings, led 10 former winners of the US Open who were on the entry lists for this year's tournament that were announced Tuesday.

The Italian has won four of the previous seven Major events, with one more final, semi-final and quarter-final on his tally. Sinner is 27-1 at Majors since last year's US Open, suffering the only loss at last month's Roland Garros after blowing away three match points against Carlos Alcaraz.

Pete Sampras, Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic owned three Majors and the ATP Finals simultaneously but lacked the Davis Cup trophy at that moment. At 23, Sinner is the champion at all of them after leading Italy to back-to-back Davis Cup glory in Malaga in 2023 and 2024.
