A 61-year-old man from Cinnaminson, New Jersey, died after being struck by lightning in Jackson Township on Wednesday. Robert Montgomery, of Burlington County, lived with his dogs and loved teaching archery.

Officials say 14 others were injured by the lightning strike, including eight children -- with some victims as young as 7.

The strike occurred at 7:07 p.m. during a stormy night and shortly before a severe thunderstorm warning was issued for the area.
