The president’s post comes after CBS unexpectedly canceled Stephen Colbert’s “The Late Show” last week. In response to the cancellation, Trump initially wrote, “I absolutely love that Colbert got fired. His talent was even less than his ratings. I hear Jimmy Kimmel is next. Has even less talent than Colbert!”
Kimmel, who has been engaged in a years-long feud with Trump, didn’t appear fazed by the president’s claim. “I’m hearing you're next,” he wrote on his Instagram Story. “Or maybe it’s just another wonderful secret.”
