DETROIT – The Detroit Red Wings are pondering how to fill a couple of voids at center, one short-term and one possibly longer-term. Already missing Andrew Copp due to injury, the team also won’t have Michael Rasmussen Tuesday in Minnesota (8 p.m., FanDuel Sports Network).

The Wings will be without both Andrew Copp and Michael Rasmussen, both with upper-body injuries, Tuesday when they visit Minnesota.

On Monday morning, the Detroit Red Wings re-called forward Sheldon Dries from the Grand Rapids Griffins and placed forward Andrew Copp on injured reserve.

The Detroit Red Wings could be without two centers Tuesday when they visit Minnesota. They finished Sunday’s game short a pair of centers. Already missing Andrew Copp, the Red Wings lost Michael Rasmussen late in the second period due to a hit to the head from Trevor Zegras.
