The Mavericks will be taking their training camp out of the United States leading up to the 2025-26 season. According to NBA insider Marc Stein, the franchise is expected to hold camp in Vancouver, Canada. The Dallas Mavericks made the not-so-surprising decision to shut down Cooper Flagg earlier this month following his second game of NBA Las Vegas Summer League. Two starts was more than enough for management to see that Flagg is ready to go as a rookie and projected impact player in the Mavericks' lineup.

Center Kylor Kelly, who played in 11 games with the Mavericks last season, had seven points and three rebounds. Magic first-round pick Jace Richardson did not play in Friday’s game.
Clifford looks NBA-ready as a 23-year-old, showcasing poise and an all-around arsenal that allows him to get to his spots at will. The guard-forward is a tremendous rebounder for his size (6-foot-5), and his tight handle and court vision could help provide additional playmaking in Sacramento’s second unit.
