Vacationers in Ocean City should prepare to pay a bit more for their Jersey Shore rentals if they use sites such as Airbnb or Vrbo. In a 4-3 vote, city council members decided last week to charge visitors a 3% tax on short-term rentals that they book through these kinds of third-party platforms.
