Israel has indefinitely postponed the release of Palestinian hostages. These were individuals who were supposed to be freed on Saturday under an agreement with Hamas for the release of hostages, according to The Times of Israel.

Jerusalem: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced on Sunday that the release of Palestinian prisoners would be delayed until Hamas ceases its "humiliating ceremonies" during the release of Israeli hostages under the ceasefire deal.

Israel accused Hamas of subjecting its hostages to humiliation, while Hamas said the delayed release of Palestinian prisoners is a violation of the ceasefire deal.
