According to Yum! Brands, about 100 KFC U.S. corporate employees in Louisville will be moving to its KFC and Pizza Hut Global headquarters in Plano, Texas, outside of Dallas. It’s a process that will take approximately six months to complete.

PLANO, TEXAS — Dallas-based Centennial has unveiled new and revised redevelopment plans for The Shops at Willow Bend, a 1.4 million-square-foot regional mall in Plano, to include townhomes-style attached residences and detached single-family homes.

KFC is leaving Kentucky for Texas, joining Pizza Hut's offices in the suburbs Dallas. Promises to build "one-of-a-kind" restaurant in Kentucky.

According to Yum! Brands, the relocation will involve approximately 100 KFC U.S. corporate employees currently in Louisville to the KFC and Pizza Hut Global headquarters in Plano, Texas, north of Dallas.

The company says it's moving their headquarters to the Dallas suburb of Plano, Texas.

The East Plano Islamic Center’s members hope the dream will materialize in EPIC City – a development of more than 1,000 homes, a K-12 faith-based school, a mosque, elderly and assisted living, apartments, clinics, retail shops, a community college and sports fields just outside the town of Josephine, about 40 minutes northeast of downtown Dallas.

DALLAS — If you are shopping for a home in D-FW, you may be disappointed by higher prices and stubbornly high mortgage rates. But at least you have more homes to choose from now, compared to the sometimes bare bones inventory of the past several years.

"This strategic decision will involve relocating KFC U.S. corporate office employees currently in Louisville, Kentucky, to the KFC and Pizza Hut Global headquarters in Plano, Texas. In addition, U.S.-based remote employees will be asked to relocate to the campus where their work happens."

A bill filed in the Texas House Friday would reduce the amount of taxes regional transit authorities like Dallas Area Rapid Transit can collect from member cities.

This data center stake in Plano’s Legacy West is only the latest in data center development across North Texas.

Plano voters have three open city council seats and a mayoral race on their ballots this May, plus four Plano ISD school board seats.

KFC will be moving its longtime headquarters from Kentucky, the only home its ever known, to Plano, Texas, the company announced on Tuesday.
