Jordan Binnington made 27 saves as the St. Louis Blues defeated the visiting Colorado Avalanche 3-1 Sunday. Brayden Schenn, Colton Parayko and Dylan Holloway scored for the Blues, who had just two victories in their previous nine games.

Colton Parayko had the go-ahead score in St. Louis’ three-goal second period Sunday night, Jordan Binnington made 27 saves and the Blues topped the Colorado Avalanche 3-1. Dylan Holloway and Brayden Schenn also scored,
Parayko gave the Blues the lead at the 14:13 mark of the second period with a wrister that went past Mackenzie Blackwood, and that was the defenseman's 13th goal of the campaign. Parayko has three goals, one assist, a plus-3 rating, 21 shots, 14 hits and 16 blocked shots over his last 10 appearances.
The Avalanche return hom and face the New Jersey Devils on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. MT on My20, Altitude and Altitude+.
The Hockey Hall of Famer says Parayko impressed him with Team Canada and his attributes shouldn't be overlooked.
