Gabriel Vilardi tied it with 28 seconds left with goalie Eric Comrie off for an extra attacker, Kyle Connor scored in a shootout and the Winnipeg Jets beat the St. Louis Blues 4-3 on Saturday night for their team-record ninth straight victory.

The St. Louis Blues host the Colorado Avalanche after Robert Thomas' two-goal game against the Winnipeg Jets in the Blues' 4-3 shootout loss.

The Jets opened as bigger favorites around -145 or higher but the news of Hellebuyck and Morrisey both missing the game brought that down to between -120 and -130 at most books. The Jets are still the far superior team, though, especially with the Blues’ backup in net.

Kyle Connor ensured that the Blues would emerge with just one point on Saturday, scoring the game-deciding goal in the second round of the shootout.

Winnipeg Jets forward Morgan Barron has been out since Jan. 28 after suffering an upper-body injury but is nearing a return and could be available against the Ottawa Senators and Nashville Predators,
