The Dolphins are releasing former Pro Bowl running back Raheem Mostert, who fell out of favor last season, and 2 others to help get under salary cap.

The Dolphins parted with a trio of veterans, clearing nearly $8 million in cap space but saddling the team with dead money too.

The Miami Dolphins have selected Lucas Rosetti as the International Fan of the Year. Rosetti is from Brazil and has been a loyal Dolphins fan since 2007.

The Dolphins continued to trim their roster on Friday, releasing cornerback Kendall Fuller and tight end Durham Smythe.

The NFL scouting combine takes place over the coming week in Indianapolis, and the Dolphins will be making inroads with a number of prospects they could select in the late April draft.

Mostert’s departure means the Dolphins return running backs De’Von Achane (907 yards rushing, 4.5 yards per carry) and Jaylen Wright (249 yards, 3.7 ypc) among primary ball carriers from last year along with little-used running back Jeff Wilson Jr. (57 yards rushing, 3.6 ypc) and fullback Alec Ingold.
