A Delta Air Lines flight was forced to return to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport on Monday after a "haze" filled the cabin, the airline said.
The Trump administration has significantly reduced the federal workforce, affecting thousands of employees across various agencies. Approximately 2,000 employees were laid off from the U.S. Forest Service, and an additional 7,000 are expected to be let go at the Internal Revenue Service.
