Competition has arrived for Tesla! Lucid, Nuro, and Uber have announced the launch of a next-generation global premium robotaxi program, which will operate exclusively through the Uber transportation platform.

Uber Technologies Inc. is teaming up with electric vehicle maker Lucid Group Inc. and self-driving tech startup Nuro to launch a robotaxi fleet.

“Autonomous vehicles have enormous potential to transform our cities for the better,” said Dara Khosrowshahi, Uber’s chief executive.
