Deadline also listed a slew of new cast members including Justin Theroux, Lucy Liu and The Office’s BJ Novak, as well as claiming that Tracie Thoms and Tibor Feldman – both of whom played supporting roles in the first Devil Wears Prada movie – would be back for the new film.

Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt were the first cast members confirmed to reprise their roles for the sequel. In June 2025, 20th Century Studios at last confirmed that Anne Hathaway and Stanley Tucci will also return. The company shared a video on Instagram announcing that the sequel is now in production, tagging both Hathaway and Tucci.
