A Bangladeshi military training aircraft crashed into the campus of a school in Dhaka, killing the pilot and at least 18 others, mostly students, officials say.

A Bangladesh Air Force jet crashed into a college in the capital Dhaka on Monday, killing at least 19 people, according to emergency officials, in the country’s deadliest air crash in recent memory.

At least 16 people have died and more than 100 were injured after a Bangladeshi air force training aircraft crashed into a school campus in the capital, Dhaka. Footage of the scene at Milestone School and College in the northern suburb of Uttara shows a huge fire and a thick plume of smoke.
