LAS VEGAS — The Celtics unexpectedly added Charles Bassey to their Summer League roster as the big man had some banner games. But he’s no longer on the C’s roster, per the team. His deal was to only play for three games in Las Vegas as he had other commitments for the summer.

Baylor Scheierman: Scheierman has played by far the most minutes of any Celtics Summer Leaguer, and he’s been the centerpiece of Boston’s offense, leading the team in assists, field-goal attempts and 3-point attempts by wide margins.

Following his ejection, the forward apologized to Celtics GM Brad Stevens for getting tossed. Joe Mazzulla loves that kind of fire, and he made sure that Walsh knew that. Still, he understands that he can't be getting tossed from games. That hurts his team when he's not out there.
