PHILADELPHIA -- The Philadelphia 76ers had a chance to inch a bit closer in the play-in tournament as they played host to the Chicago Bulls on Monday night. They entered the contest on a 7-game losing skid, yet only 1.5 games back of the Bulls for the final play-in spot in the East so this was a golden opportunity for them.

Paul George provided an update on his current injury status shortly after the Philadelphia 76ers lost to the Boston Celtics on Feb. 20.

The 76ers had another negative night … depending on who you ask. For those wanting them to reach the postseason, Monday night’s loss to the Chicago Bulls could be a detriment. The Sixers missed out on an opportunity to clinch the season’s series over the Bulls following the 142-110 decision at the Wells Fargo Center.
