To the dismay of revelers, cold and rainy weather forced several New Orleans area krewes set to roll on Sunday to reschedule their Mardi Gras parades . Thankfully, weather forecasters are predicting that rain and cold temperatures won't be a problem when the rescheduled parades take off this week.

Despite heavy rain soaking the region on Sunday, Family Gras went on as planned - just under a different roof.The final day of the event was moved indoors to the Pontchartrain Center in Kenner, a last-minute decision that surprised even local officials but was met with long lines of festivalgoers eager to keep the party going.
