Texas and the Czech Republic have had a military relationship since 1993 as part of the National Guard Bureau's State Partnership Program pairing states to train with countries around the world.

KERRVILLE, Texas — Kerrville city leaders held a special meeting Monday, discussing flood recovery efforts and the city's response. City Manager Dalton Rice announced they have extended the disaster declaration while 161 people remain missing following the deadly Fourth of July floods.

The threats come amid public scrutiny over whether more could have been done ahead of the July 4 storm, which has claimed at least 132 lives.
