A 19-year-old woman was charged with murder and aggravated assault in connection with two separate shootings near Metro bus stops on Monday and Tuesday.

METRO clarified that its involvement in the incident ended once the male assailant left the bus. Since the shooting took place off METRO property, the Houston Police Department is leading both the investigation into the shooting and the search for the female suspect. METRO police are no longer involved in the search.

Investigators said a man was beating up a bus driver, and when he got off, someone followed and shot him to death.
