Police say a woman died in the second crash tied to the Eastex Freeway shutdown in Downtown Houston on Thursday morning.

A four-vehicle crash on Loop 610 at Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. has caused a complete freeway closure going westbound.

According to Houston police, the woman had exited her car after a crash with another vehicle on the Eastex Freeway when a third vehicle crashed into one of the cars, killing the woman.
