The Giants and Cowboys kick off their regular-season finale on Sunday at 1:05 p.m. ET at MetLife Stadium, both teams standing to improve their respective draft positions with a loss.
The New York Giants are aiming for a major rebuild in the 2026 NFL Draft, but they have now been dealt bad news, as a roster move by the Miami Dolphins has prevented them from receiving an additional draft pick.
Among other pitchers for the Giants, according to their 40-man roster listed on the Giants' MLB.com site, are Joel Peguero, Randy Rodriguez, Landon Roupp, Reiver Sanmartin, Carson Seymour, Kai-Wei Teng, Blade Tidwell, Ryan Walker, Carson Whisenhunt, and Keaton Winn.
We could get three battles between 2025 rookie quarterbacks, including trips for Cam Ward and the Tennessee Titans and Shedeur Sanders and the Cleveland Browns coming to MetLife Stadium, plus a possible showdown against Tyler Shough if the New Orleans Saints finish in last place.
The New York Giants do not play on Sunday in Week 14 of the 2025 NFL season. Quarterback Jaxson Dart and the Giants are on a seven-game losing streak. Up next for the 2-11 Giants is a home game against the Washington Commanders at noon Sunday, Dec. 14. No. The Giants are off on Sunday.
A handful of Giants are in line to make some extra money this year, but plenty didn't meet the necessary thresholds.
The Giants signed Miller to the active roster from the practice squad on Saturday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports. Miller was elevated to the active roster in Week 17 but was ultimately a healthy scratch. It's unclear if he'll have a role in Sunday's season finale against the Cowboys.
