LONDON (AP) — Arsenal’s transfer spree continued with the signing of England forward Noni Madueke from Chelsea on Friday. He is Arsenal’s fourth signing of the offseason after midfielders Martin Zubimendi and Christian Norgard and goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.

ARSENAL have confirmed the shock signing of Noni Madueke from Chelsea. Over 5,000 fans signed a petition against the deal when the Gunners’ interest was first reported earlier this month.

Though a deal has not been completed yet, Madueke is close to becoming Arsenal's fourth summer arrival after Kepa Arrizabalaga signed from Chelsea for £5m, Martin Zubimendi made the £51m move from Real Sociedad and Christian Norgaard swapped Brentford for the Gunners in a £10m transaction.
