With about 13km to go, Thymen Arensman made an aggressive push to separate himself from Vingegaard and Pogačar. He built his lead up to over 30+ seconds between him and the yellow group of Pogačar and Vingegaard.
INEOS Grenadiers’ Thymen Arensman won stage 14 of the Tour de France on Saturday, riding solo for the final 37km of a brutal day in the Pyrenees. Behind him race leader Tadej Pogacar added six seconds to his lead over Jonas Vingegaard.
Tour de France organizers have shortened Stage 19 of the competition to avoid a herd of cows which have suffered an outbreak of disease.
