Detroit Tigers ace Tarik Skubal was the unanimous 2024 American League Cy Young Award winner and has put himself in position to win two in a row.

The Tigers picked up their 60th win of the season on Sunday against the Texas Rangers, and they became the first team to achieve that feat this season. Tarik Skubal was masterful in the win, and he is just happy that his team escaped with a victory.

Tarik Skubal is just about as consistent as they come. The Detroit Tigers' left-handed pitching superstar, and the reigning Cy Young Award winner in the American League, does something almost every time he takes the mound. Skubal did it again on Sunday Night Baseball against the Rangers, too.
