Some of the U.S.’s minor trading partners are about to find out they’ll be facing tariffs of more than 10%, as President Donald Trump presses ahead with his effort to reshape global trade.

President Donald Trump said on Wednesday the U.S. will probably "live by the letter" on tariffs with Japan and may have another trade deal coming up with India, following his announcement of an accord with Indonesia on Tuesday.

Trump has said that Washington is close to finalising a trade deal with India, as both countries work towards an agreement that could open up Indian markets further. His remarks come while Indian officials are in the US for fresh trade talks.
