Anthony Volpe scored the winning run with an acrobatic slide on Aaron Judge’s shallow sacrifice fly in the 10th inning, and the New York Yankees rallied past Seattle 6-5 after Mariners pitcher Bryan Woo took a no-hitter into the eighth.

For seven frames, starter Bryan Woo was unhittable. He held the New York Yankees in check for most of the night, dominating on his way to an eighth-inning exit. When second baseman Jazz Chisholm broke up the no-hitter, Woo responded with class, but karma didn't reward him immediately.

With another series loss at the hands of the Yankees, the Mariners have now lost of split 18 of the last 21 series against the organization since 2014.

The Yankees discovered a tip in Mariners closer Andres Munoz en route to their improbable extra-inning victory on Thursday night in the Bronx.

After going hitless in the top of the ninth, Seattle brought out closer Andrés Muñoz — another Mariners All-Star — to try to finish the game with a win. Instead, the Yankees continued their comeback, loading the bases before Wells tied things. Then Judge's and Volpe's heroics sealed the deal on another epic Mariners collapse.

Two ESPN insiders think the Yankees will have major interest in Eugenio Suárez, who would also be an ideal trade fit for the Seattle Mariners.
