Iowa Hawkeyes star Lucy Olsen shared what she was told about the controversial foul call at the end of her team's loss to UCLA.

After a dramatic and foul-cluttered fourth quarter to close out Iowa women's basketball's (18-9, 8-8 Big Ten) 67-65 loss to No. 3 UCLA (25-1, 14-1), senior guard Lucy Olsen spoke to the media and shared her vantage point as it pertained to her foul call with 3.8 seconds remaining that sent the Bruins to the free throw line in a tied game.

The Iowa Hawkeyes fell to the No. 3 University of California Los Angeles, 65-67, at Carver-Hawkeye Arena on Sunday. The heated matchup included 38 fouls called and four lead changes. The pink-out game marked Iowa and UCLA’s first meeting since the Big Ten expansion in 2024.
