Pennsylvania Senator Dave McCormick sponsored the inaugural Energy and Innovation Summit earlier this week at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.

President Donald Trump joined some of the world’s leading technology and energy leaders at Carnegie Mellon University on Tuesday, announcing what he said would amount to billions in planned projects for Pennsylvania.

AI is expected to impact how people live in their homes, commute, access health care and more. Participants at the Pennsylvania Energy & Innovation Summit say creating a workforce to build the AI infrastructure is the first critical step.

During the visit, President Trump will be joined by Pennsylvania Senator Dave McCormick, who is hosting the inaugural Pennsylvania Energy and Innovation Summit. It looks to bring together the top leaders in the energy, AI, global investment, labor, and trade sectors, and government officials.
