The Las Vegas Raiders will start training camp without one of their stars on defense, and that's tackle Christian Wilkins.

The Las Vegas' Raiders defense was crushed by injuries last season. They were missing star defensive tackle Christian Wilkins for most of the season. But they didn't even have Malcolm Koonce at all. He tore his ACL in practice three days before Week 1 and had to miss the entire season.

The Raiders defense, which was tied for 25th in points allowed last year, has some concerns heading into coach Pete Carroll’s first season. Defensive tackle Christian Wilkins has a lingering foot injury and sat out the on-field portion of the team’s mandatory minicamp last month.
