Rangers have appointed their former captain Barry Ferguson as interim manager until the end of the season to replace Philippe Clement, the Scottish Premiership side said on Monday. Belgian Clement was sacked on Sunday the day after a 2-0 home Premiership defeat by St Mirren left second-placed Rangers 13 points adrift of rivals Celtic in the standings.
