Texas officials have revised the number of people missing in the catastrophic floods in Kerr County, Texas, from 97 people down to three on Saturday.

Until the Kerr County Flood Disaster Joint Information Center released the new tally, the figure had stood at more than 160. County officials said Saturday that "many individuals" who had been reported missing were safe and removed from the list.

Since the waters receded, officials and volunteers alike have been searching exhaustively for over 160 people who went missing during the devastating floods.
